Food for Thought’ picks up on the nicknames of London’s skyscrapers, including the Cheese grater and Gherkin, and turns them in to giant items of food on the skyline. Smoke-like text rises from the food/buildings, highlighting issues and responses around climate crisis and London government’s policies on the food economy and wholesale markets. It draws on the artist’s work and experiences as a property economist.
