Amy Auld
biography
Amy's work deals with constructed spaces seeking to pull he viewer into faded, nostalgic stories whilst portraying a sense of escapism.
Amy was born in south-east London to Scottish and Nigerian parents, she studied at the Royal drawing school and later went onto do her BA at Newcastle University in Fine Art.
Amy uses her colour and constructed spaces to explore and deal with her own personal obstacles, she combines memories and current thoughts to portray themes of isolation and longing of past times.
