Calum Stevenson

Calum-Stevenson Portrait artist of the year series 2021

Calum graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in 2019, and went on to graduate from Glasgow School of Art with a MA in Fine Art Practice in 2020. 

Calum was commissioned by the Scottish National Portrait Gallery to paint Nicola Benedetti, one of the most sought-after violinists of her generation. Stevenson’s work is now part of the permanent collection on display in Edinburgh. 

Stevenson’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and in 2022 he had his debut solo show at Gallery Heinzel in Edinburgh. Stevenson has since worked on other major commissions for Surrey County Cricket Club and painted former Lord Provost of Glasgow, Philip Braat, for Glasgow City Council.
