Cara Dunne
biography
Dublin-born Cara has been working as an artist since graduating from the National College of Art & Design in 2016.
Portraiture has been a constant focus of Cara’s work, with themes of feminism and the climate crisis at the forefront of her current practice. Cara recently completed a Dublin City Council Artist’s Residency and has been shortlisted for the 2022 Zurich Portrait Prize in the National Gallery of Ireland. Living and working in Dublin, she also runs a design business called Cara Luna Designs, which focuses on eco-friendly, inclusive illustrations and greeting cards.
