biography
David studied for a BA hons Fine Art degree at the University of Central Lancashire in 2005.
David has recently been made an associate member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Art (MAFA). In the last few years, he has exhibited work with the New English Art Club (NEAC), Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI), Royal society of British Artists (RBA) and Royal Academy Scotland (RAS) and has had work shown in Lancashire, Yorkshire, Manchester, London, and Edinburgh.
David featured in Landscape Artist of the Year 2019 and won his heat with a painting of Tyne Bridge Gateshead and was a semi-finalist in the same year. He also made it into one of the artist’s pods again in the same programme in the 2021 series.
