Drew Thomson
biography
Drew is a Portrait and Figurative artist based in Glasgow working predominanty in oils.
Originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, Drew studied Design at Grays School of Art. Since then he has focused on fine art and works from his home studio in the South Side of Glasgow. Drew was shortlisted for the Scottish Portrait Awards in 2021 and 2022, and has exhibited at the New English Art Club in London in 2023. Focusing on portraits and figurative works, Drew evokes a sense of calm through his work and is interested in capturing moments of stillness in his work.
