Emily completed an art foundation at Camberwell UAL in 2018 and graduated from the University of Leeds in 2022.
Emily’s fascination of people is what drives her work.
Emily likes to pay particular attention to the facial features to help achieve a likeness and capture the essence of someone whilst contrasting this with an expressive abstracted background.
Emily has been inspired by Renaissance art and the concept of chiaroscuro in her work; playing with light and dark and the use of colour.
