biography

Francesca spends much of her time in the African bush, and the British outdoors, particularly Scotland, studying from life. She is a Fellow of the Linnean Society, and is represented by the Rountree Tryon Galleries.

Francesca trained in the classical atelier method in Italy and the UK, and has held over a dozen solo shows in partnership with a variety of conservation groups.  Her work is collected in America, Europe and Africa, and she enjoys undertaking commissions for clients in many areas.  

Francesca is a commissioned war artist and completed an embed in Afghanistan in December 2013. She has won several finalist prizes and commendations, such as the BBC Wildlife Artist of the year 2013 (finalist and commended) and for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the year  2014 and 2012
