Gordon works from his studio in Fowey, Cornwall creating vibrant, exciting paintings.
Gordon’s work evokes a real sense of well-being, sunshine, holidays and family – memories which resonate with collectors from around the world.
The Cornwall coastline is a constant source of inspiration, with sparkling water and sunshine creating flashes of contrasting colour for visual energy and excitement. Gordon says “I concentrate on painting the light around the object, the light then becomes the subject of the painting, I have a real sense of ‘painting the light’ when creating these works”.
Gordons work sells through several UK galleries and online. He has exhibited in New York and Hong Kong and also in The Royal Society Marine Artists annual exhibitions.
