Gregory wants to produce art in response to the beauty he finds in everyday life, and which can connect with the viewer at an emotional level.
Gregory has always loved to draw and paint. He studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and later at Manchester University. Currently he is working with linocut as a printmaker. He likes the creative challenge of producing subtle work with such a bold medium. Gregory prefers to produce larger artworks as they give him greater opportunities to add detail and interest to his work. He has run printmaking classes at the Leicester Print Workshop and Leicester Society of Artists. Since 2018, Gregory has exhibited in a variety of independent shows and larger mixed exhibitions in London including the National Open Printmaking Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery, The Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, the UK Coloured Pencil Gala, Oxo Tower, the Royal Society of British Artists and Society of Wildlife Artists exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in London. In 2023, Gregory appeared on Landscape Artist of the Year with his large linocut print ‘Glen Isla’.
