Jasper immerses himself in creating vibrant and authentic artwork, embracing the subject’s journey through expression and intricate detail.
Inspired by Marcus Garvey’s profound words, “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots,” Jasper’s artwork is dedicated to the celebration of culture and the intimate portrayal of individuals through a narrative lens.
Jasper’s artistic journey began at a young age, with a particular passion for painting that grew into an exploration of portraiture during his A-Level Art studies. His talent was recognized when he earned the honour of having his work displayed in the Royal Academy of Arts’ Young Artist’s Summer Show exhibition in 2021.
Outside of pursuing a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Jasper always finds joy in creating art during his free time.
Jasper likes to work with acrylic paint and often employs Mod Podge to craft vibrant and intricately detailed backgrounds that enhance the storytelling element of his pieces.
