Jen Maidment

Jen Maidment is an oil painter from Leeds, UK, now living and working in South Wales. She earned her BA from Reading University and her MA from Wimbledon School of Art, UAL. Having focused mostly on drawing during her education she became increasingly interested in painting afterwards. Her inspirations are broad; ranging from David Hockney to Sarah Ball and Jonas Wood. She has work in the New Light permanent collection and has exhibited nationally; including the Affordable Art Fair, Edinburgh Art Fair, the Mall Galleries and Wells Cathedral; as well as internationally as part of Andrew Bracey’s itinerant art show. Jen became involved with Fallingwater in 2022 as a resident artist, working with the concept of how human habitats can blend harmoniously with nature
