Katie Meaney

Katie’s paintings are captured in the moment from live subjects, whether portrait sitters, still life subjects or landscapes; where movement and changes in the natural lighting provide both a challenge and an inspiration. Her paintings are recognisable for their strong use of colour, combined with expressive brushwork and simplification of forms. Katie exhibits her work locally in South West London as well as through open call shows such as The Chelsea Art Society summer exhibition.
