Lee works predominately in pencil and pastel and his subject matter is body confidence and portraiture.
Based in Northamptonshire, Lee splits his time between working for a local charity and creating art works; primarily portraits of people but some animal portraits alongside
The submission that won him a place on Portrait Artist of the Year was a representation of himself in a classical pose usually used to represent an idealised female form, chosen on this occasion to show the importance of breaking down gender and sex stereotypes.
His son features a lot in his work as he wants to champion adoption and same sex families; he hopes that his work not only achieves this but inspires others.
