Libby studied architecture at UCL and Cambridge before working as an architect and training in building conservation but after a British School in Rome scholarship, she produced two large collections of artwork, purchased by a banking corporation and then illustration and artwork took over.
Libby works to commission on portraits of people, pets and houses, seeking to produce carefully crafted artwork with a sensitive approach. She enjoys depicting the landscape of the human face as much as the interpretation of houses in the landscape, combining an artistic eye with the draftsmanship of an architect. Libby’s work has been exhibited at Pfizer headquarters in New York, Bank of America- Canary Wharf, the Mall Galleries and the RA Summer exhibition. Libby works from photographs allowing her to send work anywhere from her home in Sussex.
