Lynda Lorraine Portrait artist of the year series
biography

Trained to Masters level at Central Saint Martins and the Slade School of Fine Art, Lynda is a former fashion designer turned artist whose visual practice focuses on space occupied via two threads of research.

“Culturally, I draw on my life as a third-culture British Anglo-Filipina, the world I find myself in and my place in the broad Philippine diaspora as inspiration for my art about people and places both physically and metaphorically as I explore the space our bodies occupy as a collective through dance, drapery, everyday spaces and movement.”

Lynda preferred mediums to work with are oil paints, charcoal, pencil and pastel.
