Mark Oliver
Mark is an award-winning illustrator and artist, with a strong pedigree of museum and art gallery exhibitions.
Mark has written and illustrated various books with publishers such as Macmillan, Bloomsbury, Oxford University Press, Scholastic, Egmont, Hodder & Stoughton, and Little Tiger Press. He has twice won the Stockport Children’s Prize in 2006 & 2011, was longlisted for the Greenaway Medal in 2011, won the Gold Award in the Transport for London Poster Awards in 2007, and was Runner-up in the Avensis Prize in 2003.
Mark has developed his own, distinctive approach to painting born out of the influence of Vorticism and Constructivist art as well as his unique way of observing the human figure.
In 2021, Mark appeared on Portrait Artist of the Year.
