Peter Holt

Peter’s career has included producing illustrations for advertising, publishing and other print media. He has also taught art and delivered workshops and demonstrations in schools, colleges and at arts festivals. Now concentrating on traditional fine art themes of life drawing, portraiture, and still life; his representational approach often includes a bold use of media, where subject and materials are combined in striking compositions. His self-portrait painting is in the Ruth Borchard permanent collection, and he has previously exhibited in the BP Portrait Awards, Royal Society of Portrait Painters exhibition, The New Light Prize Exhibition, and various art societies exhibiting at the Mall Galleries London. Peter is a member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Art, with whom he regularly exhibits in group shows.
