Richard Rawling
biography
Born & raised in West Yorkshire, Richard lives and works in the South West of England. He has worked over thirty years across a broad spectrum of mediums and subject matter including comics, music posters, album covers, book illustrations, and magazines.
In 2008 Richard completely changed his practice and started painting, teaching himself and quickly developing a signature style and sensibility that includes portraits, landscapes and wildlife.
He is heavily influenced by music and literature, and describes his genre as “Wounded Romanticism”.
