Robin Puplett
Having painted since childhood, Robin has turned a lifelong passion for art into a full-time career as an artist.
Educated in both fine art and graphic design, these two areas define Robin’s work.
Originally from London, Robin spent many years travelling and living abroad before finally settling down in North Yorkshire. His artwork has always been inspired by local surroundings and the people he encounters.
Robin’s painting style has developed over the years. The latest evolution is a stronger leaning towards more graphic artwork and flatter colours with a deep focus on shapes and composition.
He has exhibited at varies galleries and exhibitions and won best painting in show at the prestigious Great North Art Show.
Robin is proud to have featured on Portrait Artist of the Year, which he says was a fantastic experience that really helped to kickstart his career.
