Roy Goodman
biography
Roy enjoys using colour to capture vivid landscapes, largely of the Cornish coast.
Roy grew up in black and white postwar London – “Not surprising that colour later became important” he says. He always painted but was sidelined into science and spent a working life as a research chemist. Now free, he paints in acrylics, mainly influenced by the Cornish landscape, though he is also increasingly keen on portraiture.
