Stephen Jordan

Stephen-Jordan Landscape artist of the year series
biography

Stephen’s paintings are about perspective, changing light, the movement of clouds, the growth then loss of leaves, the changes of the season. He is interested in how time effects not only the immediacy of a painting, but how he can create a landscape by a response to a particular time and the changing of the seasons. Many of Stephen’s paintings are created plein air and often by revisiting the same place some months later to capture a change of season or particular events.
