Veronica Valeri

Veronica is an Italian artist from Rome based in Birmingham who has lived in the United Kingdom since 2012. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.

Her artistic path is one of perpetual change. Life has brought many different experiences influencing and changing her vision of reality, which in turn is reflected in her artistic expression. In Veronica’s artistic career, the change in terms of subjects, style and medium is evident, passing through portraiture, landscape, abstract, surrealism, still life, using oil, acrylic, pencil, pastels, and charcoal mainly with a realistic approach and attention for detail. From a young age, Veronica has loved archeology and architecture and this love is clearly expressed in many of her artworks. Portraiture is another of her artistic passions where the realism and the attention for detail is her trademark. Recently she has developed an interest in tattooing. She works often on commissions and has exhibited her works in Rome, Birmingham and London.
